Looking for your next role in education? We are working in partnership with a well-respected school in York, offering an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
This role is Monday to Friday and is ideal for individuals looking to support pupils and gain valuable classroom experience.

The Role 📚
You will support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and provide additional support to pupils where needed, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities ✏️
• Support the class teacher with lesson delivery
• Work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour
• Help prepare learning materials and resources
• Support pupils with their academic and social development
• Participate in school activities and training

Requirements ✅
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable
• A positive and proactive attitude
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
• Must be able to drive due to location
