Looking for your next teaching role? We are working in partnership with a well-respected school in Thirsk, offering an exciting opportunity for a Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
This role is Monday to Friday and involves full teaching responsibilities, making it suitable for teachers at all stages of their career, with ECTs encouraged to apply.

The Role 📚
You will take on full classroom responsibilities within a Year 2 class, including planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. You will be supported by a welcoming and experienced team.

Key Responsibilities ✏️
• Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for Year 2 pupils
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
• Participate in school meetings and training

Requirements ✅
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• ECTs are encouraged to apply
• Strong classroom management skills
• A proactive and adaptable approach
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
• Must be able to drive due to location
