Castle Education are looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable Pupil Support Assistants to work across schools in Scarborough.

Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, Nursery Practitioner or someone with transferable childcare experience, we’d love to hear from you!

🌟 The Role
As a Pupil Support Assistant, you’ll play an important role in helping pupils feel safe, included and ready to learn.
Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing individual support to pupils who need additional help
• Supporting small groups with classroom activities and learning tasks
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Supporting children with additional learning or emotional needs
• Helping pupils follow classroom routines and expectations
• Working alongside teachers to create a positive learning environment
• Encouraging participation in school activities and everyday learning
• Providing reassurance, encouragement and a consistent approach

You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of school settings, with placements suited to your experience, skills and preferences wherever possible.
