📚 The Role
As a Mainstream Teaching Assistant, you could be helping pupils and teachers by:

• Supporting learning activities across the classroom
• Working with individuals and small groups
• Helping pupils develop their literacy and numeracy skills
• Supporting classroom routines and positive behaviour
• Preparing resources and assisting with lesson activities
• Encouraging participation, confidence and independence
• Providing additional support to pupils who need extra help
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Working alongside teachers to help pupils achieve their potential
