Are you an experienced HLTA, Higher Level Teaching Assistant or experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in York?
Castle Education are looking for enthusiastic and committed Lead Learning Support Practitioners to work across primary schools in York and the surrounding areas, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Whether you are looking for regular work, a few days each week or occasional supply around your existing commitments, we can offer the flexibility to choose when you work.

💙 The Role
As a Lead Learning Support Practitioner, you could be:
• Covering classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Delivering pre planned lessons
• Leading whole class learning and activities
• Supporting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting classroom management
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and key skills
• Working alongside teachers and wider school staff
• Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

You can tell us your preferred year groups, schools and availability, and we will work with you to find opportunities that suit your experience and preferences.
Whether you enjoy the variety of working across different schools or would prefer a regular placement, we have opportunities to suit you.
