Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Pay Rate: £110 – £140 per day
Location: Hull & East Yorkshire

Are you an experienced HLTA who is confident stepping up within the classroom?

Castle Education is expanding its partnerships with schools and Multi Academy Trusts across Hull and East Yorkshire, creating opportunities for experienced HLTAs across both primary and secondary education.

Schools are increasingly looking for people who can offer more than traditional classroom support. This could mean leading small groups, delivering interventions, providing planned classroom cover or taking responsibility for learning activities under the direction of teaching staff.
We therefore want to hear from qualified HLTAs and experienced education professionals who are comfortable taking that additional responsibility.

Your experience could include:

  • Delivering planned lessons and providing classroom cover
    • Leading targeted interventions and small-group learning
    • Supporting literacy, numeracy or subject-specific learning
    • Working with pupils with SEND or additional learning needs
    • Supporting assessment and monitoring pupil progress
    • Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
    • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement

We are recruiting for opportunities across primary and secondary schools, with full-time, part-time and longer-term work available depending on your experience and availability.

Castle Education works with more than 150 schools across Yorkshire and has strengthened its relationships with Multi Academy Trusts through the GCA framework, including trusts with schools across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Why work with Castle Education?

  • Established relationships with schools and MATs across Yorkshire
    • Approved supplier through the GCA framework
    • Access to 30 free CPD courses
    • Local, knowledgeable education consultants
    • Opportunities matched around your experience, availability and preferred travel area
    • Industry-leading referral scheme
    • Mental health and wellbeing support
    • An experienced team who understand education and the schools we work with
