We are currently working on behalf of a Primary School in the York area who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming and supportive team on a full time temporary basis.

This rewarding opportunity will involve supporting children across school, including pupils with significant SEND, within a happy and forward-thinking three-form entry primary school on the outskirts of the historic City of York.

They are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
• Holds the relevant Level 2 TA qualification
• Has experience supporting children within a primary setting, including SEND
• Can build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to support learning and wellbeing
• Works well as part of a collaborative and supportive team
• Brings enthusiasm, patience and a positive approach to the classroom
• Communicates effectively with staff, pupils and parents
• Is committed to helping all children make strong progress
