Castle Education is currently recruiting KS1 Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout East and North Yorkshire.

Whether you’re looking for regular full-time work, part-time teaching around other commitments, long-term cover placements, or day-to-day supply, we have opportunities to suit every stage of your teaching career. We encourage both experienced teachers and ECTs to apply.

Working with a large network of schools across the region, supply teaching is a fantastic way to gain experience in different settings while maintaining flexibility and control over your schedule. The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across KS1 classes
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
• Work in a variety of primary schools across East and North Yorkshire
• Choose from day-to-day, short-term, long-term and permanent opportunities
• Build relationships with local schools and potentially secure longer-term positions
• Maintain flexibility around when and where you work

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners
• Adaptable, flexible and confident teaching approach
• Ability to quickly build positive relationships within different school settings
