Nursery Support Assistants – Scarborough

 We are currently recruiting Nursery Support Assistants to work across a number of nurseries in Scarborough and surrounding areas.

Location: Scarborough
Hours: Adhoc, Part-Time & Full-Time (Term Time Only positions available)
Pay: £14.24 – £16.00 per hour (PAYE)

About the Role
As a Nursery Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Supporting nursery staff in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
• Engaging children through play to promote development and wellbeing
• Helping with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
• Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety standards are maintained

Working Hours AvailableWe offer flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, including:

• 8:30am – 3:30pm
• 9:00am – 4:00pm
• 9:00am – 5:00pm
• 8:00am – 6:00pm

Requirements

• Experience working within childcare settings is essential
• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is desirable (but not essential)
• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• A positive, nurturing, and proactive approach
