This course is based on the guidelines Behaviour Management in Schools – Advice for headteachers and school staff set out by the Department of Education and looks at how they can be applied by teachers and school staff, with specific information relevant to supply staff. The guidance sets out the standards expected and legal duties of school staff to support pupils to behave well and the powers staff have to respond to misbehaviour.
