Looking for your next teaching role? We are working in partnership with a well-respected secondary school in Scarborough, and across a network of 8 Multi Academy Trusts, offering an exciting opportunity for a General Cover Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
This role is Monday to Friday and involves delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, making it suitable for teachers at all stages of their career, with ECTs encouraged to apply.

The Role 📚
You will be responsible for covering lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task while maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities ✏️
• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Ensure a positive and productive learning environment
• Support students with their learning where required
• Follow school policies and procedures
• Provide feedback to teaching staff where needed

Requirements ✅
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred
• Experience working within a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A confident and adaptable approach
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
