We are currently working on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school near Thirsk who are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and professional Class Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating an engaging and nurturing learning environment, inspiring pupils to enjoy learning while working closely with colleagues, parents and carers to ensure every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to thrive.

The schools are looking for a teacher who:
• Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum
• Delivers engaging and inspiring lessons for all learners
• Has a recent and successful track record of teaching within KS1 and/or KS2
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of assessment, tracking and pupil progress
• Creates a stimulating and positive learning environment
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Is flexible and willing to work across different age ranges within KS1 and KS2
