Castle Education is looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our growing network of schools across York and the surrounding areas.

Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant, a recent education graduate, an aspiring teacher or have transferable experience working with children and young people, we want to hear from you.

Depending on the school and role, you could be:
• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
• Working alongside the class teacher to support learning
• Helping pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum
• Supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths activities
• Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
• Providing general classroom and learning support
