Daily Rate: £130 – £210

We are working with a well-regarded, inclusive school in Whitby that is committed to helping every learner thrive. The school promotes a calm and purposeful learning environment, where pupils are supported to develop confidence and independence.

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and adaptable Secondary Teacher to cover a range of subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a positive impact on young people’s lives.

The successful candidate will bring flexibility, resilience, and strong classroom management skills. While subject specialism and prior experience are beneficial, the ability to engage learners and foster a positive classroom atmosphere is equally valued.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects
• Supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing in class
• Maintaining a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
• Building strong relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Ensuring high expectations of behaviour and engagement are upheld
