Giving Back Back

Our Commitment
to Yorkshire Yorkshire

At Castle Education, we believe in giving back to the Yorkshire communities that have supported us for nearly 60 years.
Since we started in Scarborough in 1966, we’ve been deeply rooted in Yorkshire – and that means investing in the future
of our region’s children and young people.

This year alone, we've given back £2,665 across
Yorkshire schools and communities

Our Purpose Purpose

To give back and invest in Yorkshire and support the future of our local communities. We aim to help children and young adults across the region have access to the best possible futures. By supporting Yorkshire charities focusing on the development and support of our children and young adults, we hope to help improve their opportunities and chances for the future generations in Yorkshire.

Each year we apportion a percentage of our profits to giving back across the region. This money goes to supporting charities, individuals or community projects that are close to our clients, our candidates and our hearts.

How We Give Back Give Back

Act of Kindness (Quarterly)

Every quarter, we randomly select a current client working with Castle to receive a donation of £250 to a charity of their choice. No catch at all – this is exactly what it says: an Act of Kindness. All you need to do is have worked with us within the quarter and we do the rest.

Connect a Business

We believe in building strong
partnerships and giving back to ourcommunities. With our Connect a Business initiative, you can help us grow while supporting a cause close to your heart. For every new business you refer to us that results in a successful placement, we’ll donate £250 to a registered charity of your choice.

Community Giving Fund

Through our Community Giving Fund, we offer donations to community projects, local businesses, schools and people in the community supporting causes, projects, events or raising money for specific events that align with our criteria of supporting children and young adults in Yorkshire to improve their lives and opportunities.

Contributions

Examples of our contributions include:

The programme is open to everyone in the Yorkshire region, including local schools, community groups, businesses and
organisations, individuals raising funds for a cause, and our clients, candidates, and staff networks.

To qualify for funding, initiatives must benefit the
children of Yorkshire in some way.

Trees Planted for Every Permanent Placement Permanent Placement

For every permanent placement we make, we plant a tree as part of our efforts to promote a more sustainable planet. Trees play a vital role in absorbing carbon, producing oxygen, purifying air, conserving water, supporting biodiversity, and creating healthier ecosystems.

It’s our way of giving back to the community and supporting the environment to help build a sustainable future for the children we help place teachers and support staff for across Yorkshire.

Charity of the Year Support Support

At Castle Education, we dedicate each year to supporting a Charity of the Year. By raising awareness and hosting fundraising events, we aim to make a meaningful impact for our chosen cause. From fun activities to impactful challenges, we’re committed to giving back to the community.
