Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for your next role? We are currently working with a friendly and supportive primary school in the Malton area that is looking to appoint a committed Year 5 Teacher to cover a one year maternity leave. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, within a school that was rated “Good” in its most recent Ofsted inspection.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons to a Year 5 class
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, tailoring your approach to support individual learning needs
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high expectations
• Support pupils’ academic progress as well as their personal and social development

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience teaching in KS2
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A confident and adaptable teaching style that engages and motivates pupils
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to support progress across a mixed-age class
• A genuine passion for teaching and making a difference in the classroom
• A DBS on the update service is desirable, although we can assist with the application process
