Are you a qualified Primary Teacher who enjoys working in Key Stage 1 and making a real impact in Year 1?
Castle Education is working closely with Primary schools across Scarborough through the Scarborough CCS framework. We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Year 1 Supply Teachers to support schools with day-to-day cover.
This role is ideal for teachers looking for flexibility, regular local work, or a better work-life balance, without the pressure of planning and marking.

The role As a Year 1 Primary Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons set by the school
• Create a positive, engaging and structured classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Support pupils with their learning and development
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
• Provide brief handover feedback to school staff at the end of the day

You can choose the days you work and accept bookings that fit your availability.
Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Recent experience teaching in KS1, ideally Year 1
• Confidence adapting quickly to new classrooms
• A calm, professional and flexible approach
• A genuine passion for early primary education
