Castle Education is recruiting compassionate and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistants to work across a number of friendly and inclusive primary schools in and around Helmsley.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys making a positive impact on children’s lives and wants the flexibility of working across different school environments. You’ll work closely with experienced education professionals to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to succeed.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence and wellbeing.
• Assist with classroom activities and targeted interventions.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Support teachers in creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

• Experience working with children or young people.
• A calm, caring and adaptable approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their best.
