About the Role:
We are working with a welcoming and well regarded primary school in Thirsk that is looking to appoint a confident KS2 HLTA. This is a “Good” rated school with a supportive senior leadership team and a strong team culture across a two form entry setting.
This role is perfect for an experienced HLTA who is confident leading learning, covering classes, and supporting pupils across Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning and supporting both pupils and teaching staff.

What You’ll Do:
Deliver pre planned lessons across KS2 classes
Provide class cover in the absence of the teacher
Support small groups and deliver targeted interventions
Work closely with teachers to support pupil progress and attainment
Help maintain a positive learning environment and strong behaviour culture
Support pupils’ personal, social, and emotional development

Who You Are:
HLTA qualified or experienced Teaching Assistant at HLTA level
Confident covering classes and leading learning
Experience working within KS2
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Passionate about supporting pupils and making a difference
DBS on the update service
