About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an Emotional Regulation & Learning Support Assistant to work within supportive SEN and SEMH settings across Scarborough.
This is a highly rewarding role supporting children and young people who present with social, emotional and mental health needs, behavioural challenges, and additional learning difficulties. You will play a key role in helping pupils regulate emotions, develop coping strategies, and engage positively in learning.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or additional needs
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong behaviour support and communication skills
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships
• Backgrounds in education, youth work, care or support roles welcomed
