About the Role
We’re working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive trust in Scarborough to recruit an enthusiastic Early Careers Teacher (ECT) to work within one of their lovely schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a nurturing environment while covering across classes and supporting pupils’ learning and development.
You’ll be joining a dedicated team committed to creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where both staff and pupils can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
• Provide high-quality classroom cover and maintain continuity of learning
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Support pupils’ academic and personal development
• Follow school policies and contribute to a positive school environment
What We’re Looking For
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending ECT completion
✔ A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
✔ Strong classroom management skills
✔ Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
✔ Ability to work collaboratively within a school team
